Xweather Protect replaces Thunderstorm Manager

Xweather Protect is our next-generation severe weather alerting solution and successor to Thunderstorm Manager. Besides adding new features, Xweather Protect gives you more control over your configuration with self-managed assets, alerts, user lists, and notifications. Most significantly, Xweather Protect expands on Thunderstorm Manager's real-time lightning detection by adding alerts for storm ETA, wind speed, and gusts. These are just the first of many new features we’re building to better meet your needs.

More control

In Xweather Protect, you create, configure, and manage your assets, alerts, users, and notification lists directly in the UI. Each user can configure map layers, units, and regional settings to match their preferences.

More flexibility

Create point, multi-point, polygon, and polyline assets and alert zones with complete flexibility. Fine-tune alert distances and all-clear times to find the right balance of safety and continuity for your operational needs.

More features

As well as numerous quality-of-life improvements, Xweather Protect adds the ability to send lightning threat alerts for approaching storms up to 60 minutes before a storm's ETA at your location.
