As Head of Weather Risk Management at Vaisala Xweather, he drives global strategy and market engagement across the parametric risk ecosystem. His previous roles include Co-CEO of Speedwell Climate and CEO of Speedwell Settlement Services, where he helped establish core infrastructure for climate index data and contract settlement. David holds degrees in meteorology from Cornell and Florida State and recently served as President of the Weather Risk Management Association.
